Hi,
You might try Previous Version and possibly recover them or System Restore.
For Previous Version, open Explorer and locate the following folder.
"YourName" will be the given name you gave your system. Right click the
Desktop folder and select Properties then select the Previous Version tab.
Look for a date just prior to when they became missing and select Restore.
C:\Users\YourName\Desktop
For System Restore click Start and in the "Start Search" at the bottom type:
System Restore. Choose a date just prior to when they became missing.
