some programs have error message after installing SP2(service pack

after i installed service pack 2 on my computer ( operating system windows XP
Home Edition)

some programs show path error after i open it although it works fine, like
adobe acrobat, office 2003( Excel,powerpoint) also some software resources in
my computer when i click it give error message (command line option syntax
error,type/? for help)
when i open Excel for example give me the following error mesage then work
fine
'files\Microsoft.xls' could not be found,check the spelling of the
filename,ND VERIFYTHAT FILE LOCATION IS CORRECT

THEN EXCEL WORK FINE
THEN ANOTHER ERROR MESSAGE
SAY 'OFFICE\OFFICE1\EXCEL.EXE COULD NOT BE FOUND CHECK THE SPELLING OF THE
FILE NAME,AND VERIFY THAT THE FILE LOCATION IS CORRECT
