Some secure websites say "You need 128-bit version" but I have it

Just got a new laptop with Windows 2000 Professional O/S and I cannot access
secure websites such as my bank.

I have IE6.0 with SP1 and the following updates:

867801
832894
824145
828750
823353
833989
831167

Can anyone help please?
