Sort By Status...Doesn't work

I thought this was a bug until I asked people and theres worked... Mine
however do not work what I mean by do not work is: Does not arrange by
status just by name (A to Z) if you get me

I've tried the following to fix it:
- Blocking, Deleting and re-adding all 185 contacts
- Reinstalling WLM but this error pops up even on a clean install of windows
and WLM on any computer.
- Removed all nicknames...
- Shouted at it several times.. and it just replied with "meh"

Totally lost on this one any ideas? my addy is a @msn.com but I cant see
that effecting anything.

Oh yeah the only time when sort by status worked was when I had that very
early beta of WLM when it was orange, grey and bloated I am an offical MSN
Butterfly too I have been for about 3yrs now... So no bypasses on the server
logon thing like with that patch to change servers or something...

Any ideas?

Can you elaborate just a bit on what you're seeing (a screenshot might be helpful)?

When you sort by status you should get an Online group, a Mobile group and an Offline group.
What groups are you seeing -- if any?

Ah, yes it doesn't go that far, although that's not bad a suggestion.

However, I do have a suggestion for you. You may want to utilize the nickname functionality
in Windows Live Messenger (right-click on a contact, click "Add a Nickname"). Some of those
display names of your contacts are rather scary.

Yeah I did all the names did have nicknames but I thought that they was
causing problems so I removed them thanks for the help where can i forward
