Hi there,
You should monitor your downloads and NOT take any driver updates from WU.
IF a driver is really needed because the hardware is not working well than
download it from the manufacturers website, if your sound works fine: leave
it be working fine..
Try booting last known good configuration (F8 during bootup)or roliing back
on the driver (devicemanger--> hardware--> sounddevice) or use
system restore in safe mode prior to a point in time before the errror
occured or reinstall the sound driver that came with your dell system
