sound card for vista

I'm getting a new desktop in the near future and been searching for a
sound card that works well with vista. I need 1 that has all the
digital inputs/outputs spdif, etc. I was looking at the Soundblaster X-
FI Elite pro, but read that it doesn't work well with Vista...I did
notice that they had recently released new Vista drivers. I like this
card because of the external breakout box. Hope someone can give me
some help here. Thanks in advance.
