Can anyone help? I don't hear any sound on my compter. Everything seems to
be working properly, but I don't hear no sound. What can I do to fix this?

Check your Volume Control.
Are all volumes up and not muted.
Under Advanced, is "Digital Output only" checked? Change it.

Check and reseat the sound card and speaker connections.

Go to the sound card/computer manufacturers website and get the latest
drivers for your sound card.

Otherwise since this is a Windows Update newsgroup, you should ask this in a
newsgroup specific to your operating system:

Start | Help and Support | type " Troubleshoot Sound " in the Search window
click on Sound Troubleshooter on the left => do the troubleshooter on the
right.

Normally, when you purchase your computer, they give you a CD that has all
the drives installed on it. I forgot what is the name of te CD, but I can get
the name for you when I get home!
I also believe you can also download the SoundCard from the Windows XP cd...
Good luck
