Sound crashes in Chess Titans

Sometimes in chess titans the sound of a move will lag. Then when the
sound resumes it makes a screeching noise. If I close the program it
stops. Sound card, Video card, or Windows?

Intel Duo Core E4500 2.20 Ghz
