I find that when playing music from my computer (not CD) in Media Centre it
plays in a very distorted and broken up way. The time elapsed/remaining
moves very slowly. However the sounds in the menu work fine. My machine is
fairly high-end - Pentium D 3.4GHz with 2Gb RAM and have had no other
problems with sound. For example Media Player and iTunes play fine and I
have run diagnostics on the Realtek sound card.
Has any one else encountered this? Any ideas if this is a
software/compatability issue or is it just not liking my sound card? I like
the layout and look of Media Centre and would like to enjoy music through it
too!
