A sound plays, then suddenly stops playing. This occurs for all my files. I
do use a windows sound device driver and it is supported.
The problem still exists. Please help me out with this problem.

I need more information.
Does it do the same thing with every file after you listen to it?
Do you have anti-virus and anti-spyware software(It could be a virus)
If not you can get a free anti-virus program at http://free.grisoft.com (AVG)
and windows defender (anti-spyware)
Also I need to know your os and os version
Did you have the problem before some updates?

yes... it happens., but not after listening to it, but while listening to a
file.
and yes.. i have both antivirus and an anti-spyware software.
i use a windows xp- version 2002.
please help.
