Sound

I have Windows 2000, with the Light Version of internet.
The problem is, that on a Media Player (playing a CD through the hard
drive), the sound will be normal, but while watching a video on Youtube.com,
or any other sites, the sound is very fast. (ie. Listening to a song on the
internet seems too fast)

What is the "Light Version of internet"?

Windows 2000, eh? Ouch.

Guess you have verified all your hardware device drivers are the latest ones
available for that OS from the hardware manufacturer's of each hardware
component?

Verified you have no spyware/adware/malware?

Defragmented?

CHKDSK'd?

Tried an alternative Internet browser?
