Soundmax or analog devices 198x audio driver

I know from the web that I can install this driver using the hardware
installation wizard and clicking the inf file. However, when I try to install
the driver, there is no device list in the the hardware installation wizard.
There must be some corruption. Please help.

Hey, I have the same audio card, and apparently there is no compatible driver
for Vista. That was my problem at least. Did you get this issue resolved?
I'm not sure what to do. Aghh
