Sounds (of Nudges)

I don't get any sound any more, so unless I am looking at the computer I miss
it when people send me a nudge. I've checked volume, tools etc, and have the
sound turned on, but since I've had Live Messenger it hasn't happened. Can
anyone help?

Are all the sounds enabled in WLM? tools > options > alerts and sounds
and make sure all the alerts and sounds are ticked
