So I have a gigabit Nic in a Dell XPS-410. And now my system says
there is no connection and all my shares are gone.
Update the driver??? Will that work?

Thanks,

Respectfully,

Trev

So here is what I did. I went to the device manager and removed the 2
network adapter entries in there. I then rebooted my pc and Vista had
put back in the ONE correct driver. It's working now.....Holy Cow!!!!

This has worked for years and years. Remove non-working device from device
manager, reboot and let Windows re-detect it!
