After I install Service Pack 1 I am unable to install programs that are
stored on another computer in my domain. I am logged on as a regular user
and when it asks for my admin credentials it says "The account is not
authorized to log in from this station." I am able to do this when the SP 1
is not installed.

It *sounds like* you have Windows Vista (of some flavor) and it *sounds
like* you are speaking of Windows Vista SP1... Is that correct?

Did you install Vista SP1 via Windows Update or manually?

offered by Windows Update, David.
