SP 3 for windows XP professional

I d/led a disk of XP SP3 from Microsoft some time ago.

Q.
IT SAYS NOTHING ABOUT BEING FOR A SPECIFIC VERS OF xp; HOME or PRO.
oops.
I presumed it was for either vers.


Using Dell`s OEM XP Pro SP3 Original recovery disc, on my Dell, I was
glad to see I could use it as a repair disc also.
However, it asked for the MS XP Pro SP3 disk. The disk I d/led does`nt
work (couldn`t find the file it was looking for.)

Can anyone answer the Q?

It wants a copy of the Windows XP installation media integrated with SP3 -
not the SP3 installation CD.
