SP1 and IE popup windows

Hi

After installing SP1 clicking on any links in Internet Explorer that open a
new window opens the window but the page never loads. Has anybody else
experienced this and know how to fix it? I've disabled all add-ons, tried
turning off the popup blocker, turned off protected mode, no luck

I tried resetting my IE settings without luck. I couldn't get the OneCare
scanner to work since it launches in a popup! Just to clarify IE isn't
crashing, it's just not opening popup windows. The window appears but no
content ever appears

That kind of error in previous versions of IE always indicated a failure of
some activex registration. (regsvr32 whatever.dll)
