Thanks for the suggestion but sadly it didn't help.
I have now upgraded 2 completely different machine types to SP1 and neither
one can properly remember Explorer settings. If, for example, I widen the
Explorer window to accommodate all fields in one particular view and then
close it, it reopens at its old width. This is even with click,
shift-click, ctrl-click, ctrl-shift-click on the close button. It *does*
remember most view settings but simply cannot be relied upon to always
restore using the previous dimensions and settings.
That is quite pathetic. I mean how hard can it be to persist a few folder
settings??? Forget about complex gradients and other special GUI effects
and give me some reliable basic functionality!
