Find a friend with faster access? Library? Work access or admins that could
get it on a cd for you?

My short list of options, Rich

If you are up to date on everything other than SP1, the download will
only be about 66mb.

"only... about 66mb" still equates to perhaps more than one full day
of a person's lifetime to download a file. It may include at least one
instance of being forced offline due to reaching an ISP's 12-hour
online session limitation, and does not include the heart-rending
possibility of either disconnections or data transfer errors for any
number of reasons.

All of that would be for downloading the file only and not even
thinking of doing anything else online at the same time for fear of
encountering, or exacerbating likelihood of, the latter possibilities
mentioned above.

That would undoubtedly seem to be one or more eternities to folks
accustomed to utilizing high-speed access.

I feel Phil's pain since the highest speed I've ever attained is
49.2kbs but seldom get beyond 45.2kbs.

For folks like Phil and myself, Carey's answer of, "As of today, it is
not available for ordering.", is very disheartening.

Good luck, Phil!

Find a computer that has broadband and cd-rw, save the download file to CD,
go back home and then open and run it in your computer.

TheVista SP-1 DVD is available from Microsoft. I ordered it on 29 April.
Cost is about $3.50 plus shipping, which in my case (NY) comes to a total of
about $10.00. Just go to MS, drill down to Vista SP-1, and you will be able
to order it
