During the installation of SP1 to my VistaBusiness Pack PC crashed big time
no way to restate except use origninal disc from Toshiba, I mean it wouldnt
boot or anything.

Loaded it all up again after couple days hard work only to be informed I
have 25 days in which to buy a new license key as mine is invalid???

My pc passes the validation tests on line at MS so whats the problem??

No Way have I copied anything I use this for business and pay good money out.

Any ideas anyone followed all the links etc on support site but nothing.

Emailed support about week ago no reply there either

Hope there is a solution

Cheers

If you used the "Original Disk from Toshiba" to load Windows Vista - that
tells me you have an OEM copy of Windows Vista - have you contacted the OEM
vendor about your issue (Toshiba)?

Office Ultimate? ...
Office 2000? Office XP? Office 2003?

Doesn't sound like Office 2007 - as that is only up to SP1. I would guess
Office 2003...

As for getting an *email* telling you this - if the machine itself did not
tell you this - that sounds like a phishing scam and if you answered it -
you may already be in trouble.

MMM!

I def got office 2007 ultimate, fully licensed here is the link from the
site that sent me the notification

Microsoft Office ()

Looks right to me but how do you tell, I just hit the keys don’t really know
what makes it all tick.

Have emailed Toshiba they say may be something to do with BIOS being changed
??
Anyway if necessary they can let me have another key or Vista pack.
Thanks for the advice; I must say I didn’t think going direct to the
supplier but makes perfect sense really. I would have with a hardware issue.
The label on my laptop with the license number wore off ages ago, should have
le box.
Was just looking at upgrade anyway.
Thanks for your help. Still think it’s a bug in O/S though as downloaded the
compatibility software as recommended on download site, system crashed, no
data loss though!!
Toshiba have recommended I reload my BIOS with new file before I install new
package sound right to you?
Cheers
Erwin
