SP1 not seen in Add and remove programme/ only SP 2 can be se

In system properties shows that I am running SP1,windows update installation
history says it was istalled 2/07/03.I am getting this message the file
" I Explorer on Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 1 Cd is needed.
I am cannot log on to" MY MSN"and was told to install the Ie.int file after
clicking install the above message is what I am getting .
Please help.

This sounds more like a post installation issue with Service Pack 2.
