SP1 Screensaver

Hello
After Installing Vista SP1 for MS update, my screensaver does not
work,...It's set to come on, but nothing happens..Anyone else have this
trouble?

Please check whether your mother-board/chip-set manufacturer has issued new
drivers/software utilities for your mother-board.

Also, go to your computer manufacturer's website and see if they have any
updates for the drivers, BIOS, etc. that is specific for your computer. I had
screensaver problems too after installing SP1. The fix was downloading a
graphic driver from the computer manufacturer's (Sony) website. Now my
screensaver works perfectly 99% of the time.

This is a known issue with SP1 and Microsoft keyboards. It may apply to your
machine, in which case you should take the steps below:

Download and install the most recent drivers and IntelliPoint software:
http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/do...s/default.mspx

Run Windows Update. Afterwards, check the log to make sure the HID Non-User
Input update has been installed.

Try changing your screensaver, apply the change, and then change it
back, and apply. Sometimes simple solutions work.
