SP1 went flawless BUT

SP1 went flawless but no WIN-RE option in F8?
I thought that was suppose to be included in SP1?

My preliminary on SP1 install.

1) Came home, checked updates. Nothing to apply. So I clicked check update
now. It hauled down one, some minor update, but no SP1

2) No SP 1~~ arg. So I clicked to check updates again, nada. Posted a NG
message, and when posted, it said I had new updates. Wow, looking for that
Sp1...there it was, clicked Install.

3) Download took forever, but given this is SP1 day 1 and it worked, it is
good but was not a MS IP. But does indicate a lot of people WANT it. Not a
problem, so did it.

4) Started update 1, 0%, 6% then stalled at 12% for quit some time, then
ripped in no time to done.

5) Update 2, weird like all. Didn't take too long, maybe 10 minutes, but
two update windows opened up. Both in sync, didn't touch it. But two
windows showing status in sync? Held my breath. Made dinner.

6) Update 3 ok.

7) Rebooted. System drive went nuts for a good 10 minutes. But all seemed
good.

Now to see if Vista has improved. Booted clean. Tomorrow nigh, will see
what changed. But didn't trash me.
