SP2 and activation notice (& Nortons)

I installed SP2 back in Sept and started getting an activation notice. I
entered the key code and it didn't work. Microsoft gave me a new key code
and it didn't work. After discussing the problem with several Micrsoft
techs, we finally decided to un-install SP2 and the activation notice went
away. They think I failed to un-install Norton's antivirus before I
installed SP2.

Now to my current problem. I installed SP2 yesterday and must not have
uninstalled Nortons right because now I'm getting the activation requirement
again. This time, its not giving me any extra days to contact Microsoft. It
just logs me off when I enter my key code and it says its invalid.

Does anyone know how I can get into the system to uninstall SP2 without
being log in Windows?

I bought this laptop as a package so I don't have any disks for Windows.
Thanks.

Hi;

If you don't have any of the original CD's then I doubt there is much that
can be done. Can you obtain a full XP CD from the place where you purchased
the laptop? Do you have a back/image of the system prior to installing SP2?
If not I'm afraid you will likely have to purchase a retail copy of XP.
