SP2 and Netscape Mail

As a couple of other people have reported, after upgrading to SP2 I can no
longer access my mail via Netscape (7.1). I would upgrade to Netscape 7.2,
except that the people who have reported the issue say that doesn't help.

I suspect this problem is a result of one of the new security settings.
Maybe VirusScan or SpamBlocker. Any ideas?

Netscape Mail launches ok. I know from using mail2web that this account has
at least 6 messages waiting. When I tell Netscape to Get Messages, the
password box pops up as usual. After entering my password, Netscape tells me
it is beginning to download message 1 of 3. The progress bar moves maybe 1/3
of the way across the area, and then everything freezes. The Netscape Icon
in the corner continues to spin and turn, indicating that it is working, but
nothing further happens.

Any help would be appreciated. Also, if anyone knows how I can enter this
same information at the Netscape site, that would be helpful, too. I didn't
see anyway to access a group like this over there.
