SP2 & No DHCP

Installed SP2 on 5 machines. All machines running fine
for months with no problems. All have the same problem.
Once rebooted, there is no ethernet connection. Try the
repair feature and XP says the router will not provide an
IP address. Run IPCONFIG and the IP address is there?
Back out SP2 and everything works fine. Any help will be
appreciated.

Turn off the computers. Unplug the power supply to the
modem for about 1 minute. Plug the modem power supply
back in. Wait for the modem to sync up until the PC
light and cable lights are solid. Boot the computer, and
you should have the connection.
