SP2 and nVIDIA GeForce 4

After installing SP2, Windows replaced my driver provided
by Toshiba with their own proprietory driver.
Unfortunately, they also managed to cut off about an inch
from my screen, making the resolution somewhere around
768X986 or something rather like that. Anyone
experiencing the same problem? Have they fixed this
anywhere yet?

Didn't happen for me. You can easily reconfigure your display through
Control Panel and/or reload the Toshiba driver if it really has been
overwritten.

Before you reload the driver you could go to Device Manager and try to 'roll
back' thye display driver. With luck it will reinstall the previous display
driver..

I had the exact same problem and fixed it by reinstalling the driver after
downloading it from the Toshiba support site:
