sp2 and previous security updates

I have xp home and since losing my broadband connection I have not been
downloading the updates. I now wish to install sp2. Should I first download
the uopdates before installing sp2 or does sp2 contain all the previous
updates.

As with all service packs for a Windows OS - unless specified the service
pack contains all previous security fixes, including previous security
patches.

However, there have been patches since SP2s release, so after you apply SP2,
be sure to revisit http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and scan again!
