The service packs seem to be designed to make certain hardware and software
packages obsolete so that you are forced to upgrade, usually with Microsoft
certified partners Hardware/software. In other words MS and it's partners are
trying to monopolise the market. I Could be wrong but it makes one think!
I am not anti-MS just fed up with having to add service packs to a system
that should never have been released when it was. It was released early in
time to catch the Christmas Market in 2001!
I also have a scanner that i cannot use with SP2 but was fine before, also
certain software and other hardware . I am not sure who is to blame but all
hardware and software should state that it is made for Windows XP if not
don't buy it!
