SP2 and SP1

Silly question maybe, but is XP SP2 intended to supercede SP1 - or are they
both required ?

SP2 includes SP1. IOW, if you don't have SP1 installed, you can install SP2.

I would wait a month or so though ...

SP1 is not required to installSP2. Some people have said the SP2 CD is
available at Staples.
