C:\windows\system32\cmd.exe is open or in use by another application keeps
preventing me from updating to service pack 2. any ideas?

Then read the 'Cannot install Service Pack 2 section' *if* it still
fails to install to learn which log files are relevant and useful in
troubleshooting just *what* is causing the installation failure.
