sp2 d/l issue

I d/l sp2 for xp twice and each time I have downloaded it I was not able to
start internet explorer I would appreciate If I could get help with this
because without sp2 my systems crashes every 5 minutes.

If your system is crashing without SP-2, do not expect SP-2 to fix it.
All problems, known and unknown, need to be resolved BEFORE installing
a Service Pack.

You should take your issue to a Windows XP newsgroup:

Post specifics such as exact error message, what you are doing when
crashes etc.
