2.4G CPU, 512M RAM, 3 months old.

I have plenty of hard drive room - swap file is not fragmented. No file
corruption, no virus or ad/spy/malware present.

Why does this computer run super slow after the SP2 update? I have installed
and removed it twice - all temp files deleted - no tricks on the computer -
just simply the Dell from the factory - BIOS is current.

The only thing I might guess is the VMWare I have installed - but it is up
to date too - with only one virtual machine installed - an XP Pro machine.

Ideas?

Hey MowGreen,

Thanks again - do you know if this fix is good for other Dell notebook
models, specifically the 9100XP PIV? I will call Dell and ask - if you know
right off the top - that it is true - it will save me time but I don't want
you to go out of the way on this question....

Thanks!

-Mark
