Try turning off the automatic updates (click apply), then click the automatic
updates button to "notify me but don't automatically download..." (click
okay). You should get another message within a minute that an update is
available.
However, when I did this and was notified SP2 was available and clicked
"download", nothing downloaded. Hmmmm.
