SP2 Disabled My Modem

After installing SP2, my dialup modem could not connect to
the internet. I disabled the SP2 firewall, but this did
not help. I called the tech support of my PC manufacturer,
and they said to uninstall SP2. I did reluctantly, after
much frustration all day. It worked! I can now connect!
