I tried to install SP2 several times. WU downloaded the files and went
through the process of installing, but when it finished I got "Updates were
unable to be successfully installed". I have two computers that run the same
programs and the other one installed perfectly. Now when I go to WU, I get
"Total updates selected: 1 items, 0 KB, 0 minutes", but get same response of
"Updates were unable to be successfully installed". Is it safe to uninstall
SP2 an then try to download again? I already tried temp disabling firewalls.
Anybody that knows how to fix this please respond!

Hi

Some log files you can check for any clues or error messages:

%windir%\WindowsUpdate.log (if you install SP2 from WU)
%windir%\Svcpack.log
%windir%\setupapi.log

(%windir% is typically C:\Windows)
