I purposely waited an extra day for the kinks to be worked of this process.
I recieved Error Code 80200010 with the message "Try to install the update
again..." Since I got dial-up, I babysat my computer for 5 hours until and
dozed off after it got beyond 75Mb. I'm not sure if my connection got
disconnected or was it trying to actually do the install after the download.
I don't want to sit another 5+hours. Ideally, if the download terminated it
should start where it left off but I'm not that optimistic.

See if you network card is disabled. Enable it

80200010 corresponds to BG_E_NETWORK_DISCONNECTED error.
This is a error from BITS service during download of the patch
Please se
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...urn_values.asp
for more BITS error codes

Following is the description for 80200010 error

BG_E_NETWORK_DISCONNECTED
0x80200010
The network card is inactive or disconnected. All jobs are placed in the
BG_JOB_STATE_TRANSIENT_ERROR state.

Vikas,
You are absolutely right. I can't blame Microsoft for this problem. Maybe
their
Error code could have been a bit more descriptive. My network (dialup) was
disconnecting after a period. The good thing is that each time I resumed the
download picked up where it left off. Beyond that, I had no problems and the
install went well.
Thanks
Michael S
