SP2 error message - Cannot read from or write to database

After the SP2 update program has finished backing up various files and the
registry, the above error message appears and then the update fails.

Any ideas?

Hi

I would think you need to delete/rename the .log files in
the folder %windir%\Security\ (and maybe %windir%\System32\CatRoot2\).

I have created a batch file that does this for you.
