SP2 fail to download, no error code

Any help out there? I recently did a fresh install of XP Pro and downloaded
all the critical updates fine. Then, when I went to download the SP2, it
inspected my system, told me I need it, then when I click to "install" it,
the download box appears, even appears to download something, then says
"Download Failed" and gives no reason, nothing. Anyone know why this might
happen? Also, other than the CD ordering, is there a way to get it somewhere
other than through Windows Update that I can simply download it and run it
from my computer?
