SP2 Firewall good enough?

This has probably been asked a thousand times. First off, SP2 download has
been on my computer now for at least a month and is working beautifully with
no problems.

My question: is the SP2 firewall good enough to stand alone and protect my
computer without having to buy a separate program. The program I have is
about to expire, hence the question.

No. You need a good, third party firewall. I use Zone Alarm Pro, but the
free version of Zone Alarm is very good. I suggest downloading and
installing it. Then disable the Windows firewall. Do not attempt to go
online without a firewall installed and running. The Windows Firewall is
good enough to protect you while you download Zone Alarm.
