SP2 + floppy drives?

Ever since installing SP2, I've been having problems with my floppy drive
(A:\). Every time I try to read a disk, explorer dies, and my work gets lost.
I've tried looking for more updates, and have been unsuccessful in that.

How can I fix my A drive?

ZB-

I second ZB's question....I have just reloaded XP and downloaded all the
updates and SP2. The floppy drive worked before -- but not now. On a cold
boot I can load DOS from a boot floppy. Device manager says the floppy os ok
and no errors with the drivers. I think its a driver issue but I cant find a
driver to reinstall.

Ideas??

I have similar probs. Device manager says floppy is OK but attempts to save
data there result in being told the drive is empty, well its not!
