SP2 Folder

I believe I have a system that failed a previous attempt to install SP2. SP2
is now installed (properly, so it seems), but there is a folder in the root
directory with the name 059dee1f2798a397d4b79b4e36e0 that I cannot delete.
This used to show me a subdirctery of SP2 (now I can't even get that far). I
do not have access to this folder (C:\059dee.... is not accessible. Access
is denied). How can I delete this folder and all the associated files?

Exactly what I needed. Thanks for your help. By the way, the Version I
have is XP Home, so Simple File Sharing is all I have. (It's defaulted and
can't be changed.) The key was changing ownership permissions in Safe Mode.
