SP2 Glitch

OK - HELP!!! I'm prompted to instal SP2. Instal goes well, but now my
printer won't work. Error message says "unable to communicate with device.
Start MPService from the Services applet in Control Panel, right-click on
Status Monitor to Reconnect, and try again." Can't find that applet in
Control Panel (anyone know where it is?), but I can access the Staus Monitor
otherwise - but then all I get is the same message. Have tried unistalling
and re-installing printer - same problem, occurs. Have used System Restore
to revert to pre-SP2. Is it because I already have Norton A/V and Firewall,
do you suppose?

I have exactly the same problem. Also using "My computer" sometimes makes my
system hang. Help please!
