SP2 Hotfix for SBP-2 drive problem ????

My external hard drive does not work and brings a Code 43 error. In the Help
and Support of Windows XP provides an article for the problem called, "SBP-2
drive stoops responding when you try to write data in Windows XP (Article ID:
885464)" The article explains the problem and notes that it is the result
of running Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2). Finally, the article explains
that a hotfix is available, but does not tell where you can find the hotfix.
All it provides is a link to paid Microsoft Support and a link to an
information page which is three years older than the above article, written
before the Service Pack was issued. How do you get the Hotfix mentioned
inthe above article.
