Francis;
Generally it is a bad idea to stop an install in the middle even though
there is an option.
That should only be used in an emergency.
Right click My Computer and click Properties.
Is "Service Pack 2" on the last line under System?
If so and with the history confirming installation, SP-2 should be OK.
You could also double check with MBSA:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sec.../mbsahome.mspx
I would leave it if everything check OK.
But if you are still unsure, Notan's suggestion to format is not bad since
it is a new installation anyways.
