I tried that, but it doesn't find any of the files she knows she has. My
Documents does work now, but it's missing all the newer files from February
2004 onwards. All of Office XP is still missing. Some other programs were
not deleted and remain on her desktop and she is able to use IE, so it
doesn't appear to be an explorer.exe problem. Any more suggestions? She
called HP - the computer's manufacturer, and they said they've had many
complaints like this since SP2 was released, but no solutions except to
reformat the hard drive.
