SP2 install failed?

Hi to all,
I've been trying to install SP2, but it keeps saying that the install
failed. I get error code 8007F0CC. Any ideas on what I can do?

Error 0x8007f0cc is:

STATUS_KERNEL_NONSTD
The core system file (kernel) used to start this computer is not a
Microsoft Windows file. The Service Pack will not be installed.


If you have a modifies boot screen or something like that, this
might be the cause:
