SP2 Installation Problem

I replaced the motherboard in my computer, used my OEM version of XP and
installed it, no problem. Installed drivers for new motherboard, no problem.
Installed video card driver. Then tried to install SP2, about halfway
through the install process, I get an error "A component's file does not
match the verification information present in the component manifest." SP2
then "uninstalls" itself, but then tells me SP2 did not fully install and
some things may not function properly. Any ideas??

That is a "FILE_HASH_MISMATCH" and my guess is you have a bad download.
Download SP-2 again, Step 1 on this page:
http://www3.telus.net/dandemar/spackins.htm

If you still have problems follow the entire Service Pack Installation
Checklist to help be sure the computer is ready for SP-2.
