Will SP2 interfere w/existing software?

Before I even think about downloading SP2, I want to know if it will
interfere with my existing software, such as norton antivirus and firewall,
and my Ad Aware.

It won't 'interfere' with them but all of them should be OFF before you
install SP2. The best thing to do is get SP2 on a CD, either free at Staples
or here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...efault810.mspx
and use it to upgrade.

No, it will not interfere with them.
But some issues may be preventing by disabling everything but the
firewall.
