SP2 LAN little/no connectivity

This is not a major issue but for some reason after I installed SP2 my lan
connection comes up with a exclamation mark and says that there is little or
no connectivity. I attempted to use the repair option in support but it
suggests I contact the person who administers my network. Any suggestions?
